The event opened with a special message from Iloilo Business Park Vice Pres. for Sales and Marketing, Jennifer Ann Palmares Fong that shared her vision about life-changing developments happening in the township. Aside from lifestyle elevation and progress, she encouraged the Ilonggos to see Iloilo Business Park as their home, where wonderful surprises awaits them not only during Christmas but year but all year round. Daisy Villanueva and SOS Childrens' Village Director, Rene Masongsong, they led the countdown for the township grand ceremonial lighting, the unveiling of the Christmas giant snow globe and fireworks display. Claravall-Gonzales School of Classical Ballet showcased a graceful performance to welcome the opening of the year's most spectacular Christmas celebration. The magical presentation inspired kids to see Iloilo Business Park as a special place this Christmas season. Touching the hearts of spectators, the University of San Agustin's internationally-awarded choir, The Troubadours performed impressive Christmas songs.

The season of giving and sharing was embraced in Iloilo Business Park officers Jennifer Ann Palmares Fong and Engr. Daisy Villanueva that symbolically turned over the township's gift for SOS Childrens' Village represented by Rene Masongsong. SOS Childrens' Village is this year's Christmas beneficiary of Megaworld and Iloilo Business Park. Kids from SOS Childrens' Village were surprised by Santa Claus that led the gift-giving. McDonald's mascots had a special performance and entertained the crowd. Visitors and guests lined up to enter the giant snow globe for a picture-taking opportunity. Adding more attractions at Festive Walk Parade, the biggest car show in the city opened nearby to welcome visitors and locals. The event was followed by a series of acoustic performances from sensational local artists and singers.

Another new phase of the Festive Walk Parade will open next year in Iloilo Business Park to showcase an extended destination where upscale restaurants, coffee shops, souvenir shops and a new BPO tower rise. It will continue to create vibrant appeal to the township's hip leisure spot, where Ilonggos can enjoy the best attractions and place to unwind. This will be the second phase out of Festive Walk Parade that will open in the township. Two more phases will be constructed in the next 10 years to complete the visionary longest shop-and-dine strip in Western Visayas.
